The 70th BAFTA TV Awards nominees have been released by the British television counterpart of the Emmy Awards. There are eight nominations for The Crown and seven for Black Mirror, respectively.
The two Netflix series appear ready for a fantastic night on Sunday, May 12, 2024, when the awards ceremony takes place. Comedians Rob Beckett and Romesh Ranganathan were also revealed as the show’s hosts.
A total of six nominations were received by the following programs: BBC’s Happy Valley, Apple TV’s Slow Horses, and BBC’s The Sixth Commandment. The American series’ The Last of Us and Succession on HBO have each been nominated five times.
